Loliware is the first and only BIODEGR(EDIBLE) cup that leaves nothing behind. Made from seaweed, organic sweeteners and 100% all natural flavors derived from real fruit and vegetables. The cup contains no gelatin, gluten, plastic, GMO’s or BPA’s. Truly a revolution in edible cups.
We worked closely with Chelsea Briganti and Leigh Ann Tucker, the founders and designers of Loliware, to create a custom identity that reflected the bold, fresh flavors of their product. We needed to create a strong visual that would signal a new category and evoke a product experience and taste that reflects the brand. Lush colors, chunky patterns and a playful emblem within a clean sans serif work mark came together to create a modern, clever and unapologetic brand.
The sustainable packaging was derived from paper-pulp. By designing protective elements into a pulp sleeve, we were able to eliminate product damage by separating the cups, provide a structure that could withstand the bumps and pressure of shipment, and include a stand that separates from the pulp to give consumers a way to store and display the cups prior to use. We also created a visible side view to allow people to see the product and take the mystery out of edible cups.
Since the launch of their product, Loliware has been featured on Shark Tank, Food and Wine, Forbes, FastCo, Entrepreneur, Time, Oprah, The New York Times, Dwell, The Wall Street Journal, and Wired Magazine.
